My Dream

I have long had a dream of building an auditorium to host gospel preaching and teaching and Southern Gospel Music concerts and house a Southern Gospel museum in my home town of Centralia, IL. I envision a large white lighthouse, a silent sentry rising up to proclaim the gospel message. Inside would be a spacious stage with state of the art lighting, sound and other equipment. This would also house a history of Gospel music in general with special attention to its impact on Southern Illinois.

This would also be a place to preserve this most wonderful music and to train new generations in the art of Southern Gospel Music as a ministry as well as clean, wholesome entertainment with a school of gospel music. This light house would spread the gospel through singing, preaching, teaching, counselling and eventually via radio, television and Internet. People from around the world will visit and it will be a world famous landmark. It someday will conceivably be the most famous light house in the world. This will not be an ostentatious meaningless idol but a practical, utilitarian building designed to effectively proclaim the gospel and minster to God's people.
 To God be the glory.

We encourage you to be a part of this dream and help preserve and promote the gospel and Southern Gospel Music I welcome your financial contributions and prayers.

Keep the lower lights burning with any amount you can afford to give. Little is much when God is in it.

Let The Lower Lights Be Burning

Philip P. Bliss, 1871

Brightly beams our Father's mercy
From his lighthouse evermore,
But to us he gives the keeping
Of the lights along the shore.

Dark the night of sin has settled,
Loud the angry billows roar;
Eager eyes are watching, longing,
For the lights along the shore.

Let the lower lights be burning,
Send a gleam across the wave!
Some poor fainting struggling seaman,
You may rescue, you may save.
